To play
at AvatarCasino, you have to be connected to the Internet. This will give
you the opportunity to chat with other visitors and login to the casino
from any location in the world. Players can walk and chat in the Avatar
Casino environment.
The AvatarCasino
client application will start on your PC. Only the bets, numbers/cards/reels
drawn and avatar activity will be sent to you from our server. This
way everybody receives the same information. We can ensure the correct
handling of secure information concerning bets, winnings and pay outs.
To make our casino
as real as possible, we offer multi-player games. Black Jack and Roulette
can be played with 5 people per table, and you have to wait for your
table mates to make their bets. It is also possible to enter PRIVATE
ROOMS, where you don't have to wait for other players. Private rooms
are accessed via the multi-player rooms.
After downloading
and completing the registration process, you can start AvatarCasino:
If you are running
Windows 3.x, double click on the AvatarCasino icon in the related group
box.
If you are running
Windows 95/98 or NT, from the Start menu, select AvatarCasino under
Programs and then click on the AvatarCasino item. This will start the
software.
Once the casino
software has loaded, click on the Entrance. You will be prompted to
enter your login name and password. Click 'Login' once you have entered
the information required.
The first room you
enter will be the Lobby. In the Lobby you can sit down, chat with fellow
visitors and get chips to gamble with. When entering the casino for
the first time, you will be granted $ 2000.00 worth of free game playing
chips.
You can see who
else is in the Casino by selecting List of Visitors from the menu. If
you choose the room your friend/date is gaming at, there is a chance
the table will be full. If you want to gamble, please wait for the next
person to leave the table.
Your Alter Ego
To move your avatar around the screen click on the desired position
with your mouse. If you hold the mouse above an avatar, the name of
that player will appear. You can change the way you look by selecting
the Change Avatar button from the menu. This option allows you to change
the clothes and color of your avatar or choose a different name. It
is possible that two (or more) avatars will look the same, however,
it is impossible for two (or more) avatars to have the same registered
name.
Chat
Text will appear in a balloon next to your own avatar by typing the
text and hitting the enter button, it is seen by every other player
in the chat room.
You can also have a private conversation with someone by clicking with
your right mouse button on his or her avatar and choosing 'private conversation'
from the menu. A screen appears in which you can type your text. Your
text is blue, the other person's text is red.
Menu
To make things easy to use, we have created a menu that will guide you
through the entire casino. Different buttons are added to the basic
menu in each game.
Help
All the information you need is here. If you still have questions you

Stop
You can stop your game with this button, and if pressed when not playing,
you will close the application and exit the casino.
Settings
With this option, you can change some of the Casino default settings,
like Sound, IP-number and number of connections.
Visitors
Shows a list of all players and the rooms where they are located. You
can 'jump' to a player's location by first clicking on the name of the
player and then clicking 'Go to room'.
