Basics of Baccarat
Baccarat is a simple and fun card game. The object
of the game is to guess who holds the winning hand, the banker or
the player, or is the game ends with a tie.
The winning hand, is the hand that sums up to the
higher numerical value. The value of a hand is determent like this:
-
Tens, K's, Q's and J's
are counted as zero
-
Sum up the numerical
cards your hand contains (except 10)
-
The last digit of
your total sum is the value of your hand
The higher hand wins, equal hands means a tie.
First the banker and the player are dealt two cards.
If those cards sum up to 8 or 9, the hand is called a "natural",
and the game ends, since the the reached a maximum. If the hand
is lower than 9 or 8, the hand will receive one more card only.

A winning bet on a player's hand pays 1:1.
A winning bet on a banker's hand pays 0.95:1
because there is a 5% commission on it.
A winning bet on a tie hand pays 8:1.
If the game results in a tie, the bets made on the banker or the
player are returned.
