Roulette-basic bets

The roulette wheel consists of 36 numbers plus zero and in some casinos a double-zero also. A bet can be placed on a single number, or cover 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12, or up to 18 different numbers during one spin of the wheel.

Here are the various bet you can place:

One Number (Straight Up)
A bet is placed on any single number on the table, including zero (0) and double-zero (00) (if exists). A win of your number pays 35:1.

Two numbers (Split Bet)
A bet is placed on two numbers printed on the table which share a common dividing line, on that line. A win of one of your numbers pays 17:1.

Three numbers (Street Bet)
The bet is placed on the outer right boundary line of the table, next to the corresponding row of three numbers. A win of one of those three numbers pays 11:1.

Four numbers (Corner Bet)
The bet is placed on the cross where the four numbers intersect. A win of one of those four numbers pays 8:1.

Five numbers (Five Bet)
This bet covers the following numbers: 0, 00, 1, 2 and 3. The chip is placed on the outer right boundary line of the roulette table, between 00 and 3. A win of one of those five numbers pays 6:1.

Six numbers (Line Bet)
This bet covers the six different numbers in two rows of three numbers. For example: 4,5,6 plus 7,8,9). The chip is placed on outer right boundary line of the roulette table, where it is crossed by the line dividing the two rows .A win of one of those six numbers pays 5:1.

 

Bets that cover 12 numbers:

Column Bet
This bet is placed on one of three printed boxes marked "2 to 1." located in the short side of the table. Placing your bet in one of these boxes, marks all twelve numbers above it (0 and 00 excluded). A win of one of those twelve numbers pays 2:1.

Dozen Bet
This bet is placed on one of three printed boxes marked "1st 12," "2nd 12," or "3rd 12." Located in the long side of the table. Placing your bet in one of these boxes, marks all twelve numbers included in this bunch. A win of one of those twelve numbers pays 2:1.

Bets that cover 18 numbers:

Red or Black
This bet is placed in one of the two boxes located to the right of the table, which show a red diamond and a black diamond. A bet on each of them covers 18 numbers of the chosen color. A win of your color pays 1:1.

Even or Odd
This bet is placed in one of the two boxes located to the right of the table, the even box is above the red diamond and the odd box is below the black diamond. A bet on each of them covers 18 numbers of the chosen box. A win of your box pays 1:1.

Low or High
This bet is placed in one of the two boxes located to the right of the table, the low box is above the even box and the high box is below the odd box. The low box covers the numbers 1 to 18, the high box covers 19 to 36.A win of your box pays 1:1.
